Sometimes buying for your mum and dad can be amongst the trickiest of decisions around Christmas.  You want something that tells them how much you love them but that is also something they will enjoy.  It might be that you are Mum or Dad shopping with the kids for something for your other half.  Whatever the case, here is some inspiration to get you started.

Kitchen fans

The kitchen is a good place to start looking for ideas for those perfect gifts.  Whether mum loves to cook or dad fancies himself a chef, there are plenty of great products that may catch their fancy.  Items such as food processors and blenders are very popular this year and even more so if they are fans of smoothies and healthy eating.

Decorating the table is something that has always been popular and most of us have special tableware for Christmas.  But to say how much the kids love their mummy, the Mummy Nellie Table Mat has a cute elephant design that is suitable for all year round.  That way, every time she sits down for a meal, she will feel the love we have mats for Daddy’s too!

Cooking the Christmas day meal is often a big family occasion in many households with everyone pitching in.  A great present for mum for the day is the Adult Cooking Apron Wide Stripe Red and Stone.  This cheerful and bright cotton apron is reusable after a quick wash and means that after the Christmas mess is over, it will be ready for other occasions.  It is also great for dad on Christmas Day as it is big enough for the guys to use too!

For Dad

Presents don’t always have to be big and expensive – picking a little something that really speaks to the person is just as special.  For the coffee fan, a mug is always a good present because the more they drink, the quicker they go through them!  The Aurina Mug with Christmas Chocs comes gift wrapped and filled with chocolates so there is something to enjoy with their favourite coffee.

If Dad is a fan of something a little stronger in his coffee, you could also give him the ingredients for an Irish Coffee.  All that is needed is 1.5 fl. Oz Irish cream and the same of Irish whiskey.  Add these to his new mug then fill with hot coffee, a dash of ground nutmeg and a tablespoon of whipped cream to finish the drink perfectly.  Ideal for those cold nights when something a little stronger is needed!

For Mum

Pom poms are everywhere now that the weather is getting cooler and they are great fun to incorporate into a Christmas present for mum.  The Fur Pom Pom Hat and Pom Pom Key Ring Set is a great example.  The set comes in five different colours and includes a stunning beanie hat with pom pom as well as a matching pom pom keyring to adorn a favourite bag.  This means even when it gets too warm for the hat, the keyring is still there to remind her of your love.
