Grand Millennial Style
At Aurina we are living for this Grand Millennial Style. It's being described as 'Insta meets Grandma', and an 'Ode to the Old School' and it's a fabulous combination of all the things I love. There are patterns, florals and textures and unlike its shabby chic predecessor, it is a risk taker! It can be bold and clashy- antique furniture stained dark, cosied up with delicate patterns with a dash of abstract modern art thrown in for good measure.
A visit to grandma's house (if grandma was also a secret hipster). Here are a few of my favourite Aurina pieces that I think would work perfectly in a Grand Millennial home.
Prints prints and more prints
I have always loved combining prints. Sometimes being just a little more daring than you might usually be can pay off and can take a room into a whole new dimension.
Recently we redecorated our spare room with this gorgeous Peony Print Wallpaper in Sky Blue and I absolutely adore it! It is the perfect base on which to add other prints and patterns. It is also available in Sage Green!

Something about the whole Grand Millennial style reminds me of the home in Nanny McPhee. Grand but also quirky and jam-packed with colour and charm!

Metallic Accents
