Netflix and Amazon have A LOT of choice, some evenings it's just too much and the searching is longer than the actual watching!

Once something catches your eye, you then start questioning whether the show you've landed on is really for you. It can be a mission! So, we put our heads together at Aurina HQ to recommend some of our favourite shows.

Virgin River - Netflix

This one is easy watching. Switch on Netflix and switch off for a little. There's even some eye candy in the from of hunky Martin Henderson (Grey's Anatomy fans, you'll know).

Firefly Lane - Netflix

Katherine Heigl and Sarah Chalke take us on a journey of friendship, all the ups and downs that I'm sure we can all relate to. I couldn't wait to find out what happened next in each episode!

Crime Scene: The Vanishing at the Cecil Hotel - Netflix

If you're a hardcore true crime fan, give this a go. We're only part way through this docu-series but I'm certainly intrigued! Directed by Joe Berlinger, if you were fascinated by his documentary on Ted Bundy, you'll most likely find this of interest. I would say this comes with a warning though, it's gritty and worth waiting for the kids to be asleep.

The Wilds - Amazon

A little bit like Lost, this series follows a group of teen girls that are stranded on an island after their plane goes down on flight to a retreat. The series has a variety of interesting themes to it and is one of Amazon's best originals at the moment.

The Founder - Netflix

The Founder has been out for a while, but now it's on Netflix, if you haven't seen it already it's worth the watch! A little history on the beginnings of McDonald's.

Travels with My Father: Series 1-3 - Netflix

Jack Whitehall and his now equally famous father Michael, will make you laugh out loud on their adventures across the globe.

Happy Watching xx
